Are the fabrics pre-shrunk? How much shrinkage should I expect?
Short answer
Our Portuguese-made apparel and knit fabrics (including Jersey, French Terry, Rib and Gauze by the metre, such as Premium Gauze) are sanforised.
Indicatively, typical residual shrinkage in home washing and drying is around +2% to −6%, with a tolerance of about ±2%, for this type of organic cotton knit. The Portuguese knit bases are indicatively washable at 30–40 °C.
