The base material
Half-Panama for indoors. Polyester canvas for outdoors. Same artwork, both surfaces.
Half-Panama is a basket-weave variant of plain woven cotton — tighter than canvas, more textured than poplin. The structure shows through the print, giving a tactile, woven look that sets a premium cushion apart from a flat-printed one. At 200 GSM it’s heavy enough to keep its shape on a sofa for years.
For outdoor use we move to a 250 GSM polyester-acrylic blend — the same fabric family used by patio-furniture brands. Quick-drying, UV-stable and shape-retaining through weather cycles. Pigment print rather than reactive, because synthetic fibres don’t accept reactive-dye chemistry.

The reverse is the same base fabric with a zipper or envelope closure as specified. If your design needs artwork on both faces, talk to our team before ordering so the cover is set up that way.
Can I print a cushion with my own photo or text?
Yes, any artwork works: a photo, a pattern, a name or a logo. Indoor covers take the image as a full-coverage reactive print on cotton Half-Panama with photographic-grade colour; outdoor covers take a UV-stable pigment print on polyester-acrylic canvas. Supply the file at the finished cushion size (30 × 50, 45 × 45 or 60 × 60 cm) and one artwork file works for both bases. The minimum is one cover, so a single personalised cushion is a normal order.
