Do your fabrics pill? Is there an anti-pilling treatment?
Short answer
On our Portuguese-made range (apparel and the Portuguese knit fabrics by the metre), the fabric receives an enzymatic anti-pilling treatment and is mercerised, which also helps.
Both treatments have a smaller effect on organic cotton than on conventional cotton, so pilling resistance is improved rather than eliminated, and some pilling over time is possible. For our Spanish woven fabrics or our sublimation products, we'll confirm with production and come back to you.
