Why are T-shirts printed in shared batches?

Updated Products & materials By the Fabrixa support team

Short answer

Our T-shirts are reactive-printed: the dye is fixed into the fibre, not printed on top, so the print does not fade or crack.

It only works on a full fabric run, so they're printed in shared runs of 100 pieces across all merchants, while you order from 1 piece. Reactive print was always designed and optimised for large runs, keeping it out of reach for smaller businesses and independent designers. The shared batch opens that premium quality up from a single piece, so a brand can start small and grow with it. It means a little waiting at the start while the first runs fill, which we hope is a fair trade for the result. You can cancel free in the order until the batch is confirmed, and if it isn't confirmed by the release date in your order, the full amount goes back to your balance automatically.
