Can you get a deep, saturated black on jersey and knits?

Updated Artwork, printing & Studio By the Fabrixa support team

Short answer

Yes. For our Portuguese-made apparel and knits by the metre, a dedicated reactive black dye is used for more intense blacks, and the mercerisation and anti-pilling treatments the fabric receives before printing contribute to a deeper black and a higher-quality finish.

Note that a large plain-black area is still a solid colour, and minor variation across it is a technical characteristic of the process rather than a defect.
