Got better rates with your courier?
If you have a contracted account with DHL, UPS, DPD, FedEx or your local carrier, plug it into our API and we'll print your shipping labels on every order — using your rates, your tracking, your service level.
One API call sends us your account credentials and label preferences; we handle the rest at dispatch. No surcharge from us.
What's included — and what's not.
- The same price as your order. Every estimate follows the rules Fabrixa charges an order with: the production location of the product, its carrier, its boxes and its handling fee per box.
- Handling included. Every price shown already contains the handling fee of the production location.
- One product per estimate. An order with several products packs them into shared boxes, so it usually ships for less than separate estimates added up.
- Transit time after production. The days shown count from the moment the carrier picks up the boxes; production time comes on top.
- Countries. The list shows every country with a shipping rate for the product you chose.
- VAT. Prices exclude VAT, which is charged separately based on the destination.
- Outside the EU. Orders to the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway and other non-EU destinations cross a customs border: local VAT and any import duty are charged to the recipient on delivery.
Shipping costs, answered
What factors affect my Fabrixa shipping cost?
Four things set the shipping price of a Fabrixa order: the production location of the product (it ships from that country with the carrier of that location), the destination country, the number and size of the boxes the quantity needs, and the handling fee per box of that location. The calculator asks Fabrixa for exactly these rules, so the estimate is the price an order would be charged. Prices are in euro and exclude VAT.
Does Fabrixa ship orders outside the EU?
Yes. The country list in the calculator comes from Fabrixa and holds every country with a shipping rate for the product you chose, inside and outside the EU. The list follows the carriers of the production locations, so it can change over time. A country that is not in the list has no rate for that product yet; for such a destination, talk to our team.
What happens when my order does not fit in one box?
Fabrixa packs the units into the shipping boxes of the production location: as few and as small as fit. Each box is priced by the carrier rate for its type from the origin to the destination, plus the handling fee per box, and the shipping price is the sum of all boxes. The calculator lists every box type with its size, how many of them the order needs and the price of each, so a larger quantity shows exactly where the extra cost comes from.
Why does my Fabrixa order sometimes arrive in more than one parcel?
A Fabrixa order arrives in more than one parcel for two reasons. Products made at different production locations ship separately: apparel from Portugal, reactive-printed home textiles from Spain and sublimation items from the Netherlands, each with the carrier of that location. And a quantity that does not fit in one box ships in several boxes from the same location. The calculator prices one product at a time and shows the boxes it needs; an order with several products from the same location shares boxes where it can.
Can I use my own carrier account for Fabrixa orders?
Yes, Fabrixa can print shipping labels using a customer’s own contracted account with DHL, UPS, DPD, FedEx or another local carrier. The customer submits account credentials and label preferences through the API, and Fabrixa applies them automatically at dispatch, using that carrier’s rates, tracking and service level. Fabrixa adds no surcharge for this option.
How do I calculate my print on demand shipping costs?
Pick a product, a size, a destination country and a quantity in the shipping calculator. The calculator asks Fabrixa for the price and the transit time that an order with exactly that content would be charged: the carrier and the boxes of the production location, handling included, VAT excluded. The transit time counts from the moment the carrier picks up the boxes; production time comes on top. Shipping is itemised separately from the unit price at checkout, and inside the EU there are no customs duties or import fees on top.
