Activewear bases vary by silhouette, but all are 100% organic cotton. Joggers and shorts use 330 GSM cotton jersey — the same heavyweight base as our hoodies — for drape, recovery and warmth. Tanks and training tees use 160 GSM organic cotton for breathability.
Every base passes through the same three industrial finishing stages used on every Fabrixa cotton garment — mercerized, enzyme-washed, sanforized — so the fabric flexes through movement cycles and keeps its shape wash after wash.

Stronger fibre
Cotton fibres treated under tension — increases yarn strength and dye uptake. Critical for activewear that flexes through movement cycles.

Soft from day one
Cellulase enzymes break down surface fuzz. Activewear arrives at your customer already softened — no break-in.

No size shifts
Mechanically pre-shrunk under controlled steam. Joggers stay the right length, shorts keep their cut, after washing.
The print
Reactive all-over print, bonded into the cotton.
Activewear gets the same industrial reactive print as the rest of our cotton range — the dye chemically bonds with the fibre, so the colour becomes part of the fabric rather than a layer on top. No plastic feel, no cracking at the seams, no dye that fades or migrates with sweat. The base fabric’s breathability and stretch are fully preserved.

Wash & care

Cool to warm machine wash inside-out. 30°C for everyday; 40°C for heavy soiling.
Low
Low heat preserves elastic recovery in waistbands. Avoid high-temp drying.
Avoid
Activewear rarely needs ironing. If required, low and inside-out only.
