MOQ 1 m · SPAIN · PERCALE 200TC · SATEEN 300TC · REACTIVE PRINT
Two woven cotton bases. Two different bedding feels.
Home Weight is the bedding-and-home-textile tier of the Fabrics per Meter range. Both bases are 100% cotton, both produced in our Spanish weaving partner’s facility, both reactive-printed on the same line that produces our finished duvet covers. The choice between them is entirely about feel and end-product positioning — Percale for crisp hotel-classic, Sateen for soft-luxe drape.
100% cotton sateen at 300 thread count. Sateen weave gives a smooth, slightly lustrous face with a soft hand. The boutique-hotel and luxury bedding spec — closer to silk-touch on cotton economics. Recommended for premium bedding, pillowcases, decorative home textiles.
Every Home Weight base, with full specs.
Both bases available at MOQ 1 metre, reactive-printed to your artwork, shipped on the roll from Spain.

Plain weave or sateen weave. Same cotton, different geometry.
Percale and Sateen are both 100% cotton, both woven, both at thread counts that put them in the European mid-premium bedding tier. The difference is the weave geometry: Percale is a tight 1×1 plain weave (one over, one under) which gives a structured matte face. Sateen is a satin-derived weave with longer floats on the face, which gives the smooth lustrous surface and softer drape.
Both take reactive print equally well — Percale gives slightly more matte colour, Sateen gives slightly more saturated colour because the smoother face reflects more light back. Same artwork, two distinct finished-product positions.
Crisp, breathable, hotel-classic
100% cotton, 200 thread count, plain weave construction. Crisp hand, matte face, breathable structure. Customer experience: the bed feels cool and crisp on first contact, gets even crisper after a few washes. The default European bedding-collection spec. Best for: duvet covers (1P / 2P / Lits Jumeaux), pillowcases, top sheets, lightweight home textiles.
Smooth, lustrous, soft-luxe
100% cotton, 300 thread count, sateen weave construction. Smooth handfeel, subtle sheen, soft drape over the body. Customer experience: closer to silk-touch than to cotton-classic. The boutique-hotel / luxury-DTC bedding spec. Best for: premium duvet covers, pillowcases with show-side AOP, decorative bed throws, designer home-textile capsules.
Reactive print on woven cotton — sharper detail, deeper saturation.
Woven cotton bases (Percale, Sateen) take reactive print with even more clarity than knitted cotton bases (jersey). The tight, regular weave structure gives the dye a uniform substrate to bond into — design detail comes through precisely, colour transitions stay clean, large solid areas don’t mottle.
- Photographic-grade detail across full-bleed bedding panels
- Deep colour saturation, especially on Sateen
- No surface plastic — the bedding still feels like cotton when used
- Wash-fast through hospitality laundry cycles (60°C)
- Pantone-matchable on request — talk to sales for colour-critical projects
- Same dye chemistry as our finished duvet covers — identical colour result
Sold by the metre, shipped on the roll from Spain.
Both Home Weight bases ship as continuous lengths on cardboard rolls. Cut to your order length — from sampling quantities through small production runs to multi-roll orders for hospitality fit-outs.
1 metre
Same MOQ across both bases — sample lengths, prototype runs, full production rolls all hit the same minimum.
Continuous
Each order ships as a single continuous length on a cardboard roll. Roll diameter scales with metres ordered.
140 / 150 cm
Percale at 140 cm, Sateen at 150 cm. Both wide enough for most bedding cut plans without seaming.
Pre-shrunk
Cotton bases are pre-conditioned (mercerised, pre-shrunk) so post-print dimensional change is minimal — critical for fitted bedding cut plans.
Lead time depends on metres + queue position. Talk to sales for SLAs.
Reactive-printed Home Weight runs alongside our finished-bedding production in the same Spanish facility. A short sampling run goes through fast. Longer production rolls sit in queue with the finished-goods workload. Quote-confirmed lead times come back per project at order confirmation.
Production timeline
Dispatch & delivery
Home Weight is for bedding production at scale.
In-house cut & sew
Established bedding manufacturers cutting and sewing duvet covers, pillowcases, and bed throws in-house. Source Percale 200TC for the everyday line, Sateen 300TC for the luxury tier — same supplier, two product positions.
Branded room rollouts
Hotel groups and design firms speccing brand-bespoke bedding across multiple properties. Order metres directly, cut into custom dimensions per room type. OEKO-TEX docs included for procurement.
Pattern-led production
Independent bedding labels building seasonal pattern collections. Source the cotton, print to the artwork, send to your own cut-and-sew partner. Full design control, predictable cotton spec.
Bespoke commissions
Interior designers commissioning custom bedding for high-end residential or boutique hospitality projects. Small metre quantities, custom artwork, premium cotton spec. The Sateen 300TC tier is the typical pick.
Per-metre pricing is quote-driven.
Bedding-grade cotton at 200 or 300 TC carries a different cost base than apparel weights. We quote per project across volume tier, artwork complexity, and any customisations. Sateen typically prices higher per metre than Percale.
